externalPowerLimitW and externalPowerLimitExpiresAt are only applied when updateExternalPowerLimit is true. In that case both are written as sent, and a null externalPowerLimitW clears the EVSE's external power limit. When updateExternalPowerLimit is omitted or false, both fields are ignored and any existing limit is left unchanged.

The active limit is returned as externalPowerLimitW and externalPowerLimitExpiresAt on the EVSE in this endpoint's response and in GET /sites/{siteId}.
